The Spirit Gate

I set out to design a Penny Dreadful like scenario in a very grounded and period accurate world build. The turn of the 19th century was a crazy time of invention and superstition alike. The more I looked into it, the more weird stuff I ended up finding on either side of the coin.
I combined the fascination of electricity with the curiosity surrounding extra existential planes. I hope you like it :)
